Prototype (2009) and Prototype 2 (2012), Radical Entertainment's open-world games, recompiled to run natively on the PS5. Both games are in one app: choose Alex Mercer's Manhattan or James Heller's New York Zero on its HOME page. - Native PS5 app, not emulation: both games' Xbox 360 code recompiled for the PS5 - FSR 1 upscaling to 4K with a sharpness setting, SMAA or FXAA, and up to 16x texture filtering - 30 FPS as on the Xbox 360, or an experimental 60 FPS mode - PlayStation button prompts in both games (the Xbox 360's are a setting away) - DualSense: the light bar in each game's colour, dimming as you're hurt and blinking near death, a pulse when you're hit, and R2 resistance for the sprint, with a strength setting - A cheat quick menu on L3 + R3: God Mode, Infinite Ammo, Enemies Ignore You; Infinite Mass and One-Hit Kills in Prototype 2; Give EP and Lose The Alert. It can be turned off in the settings - Prototype 2's Radnet events, videos and rewards unlocked offline (its servers are long gone), with the RADNET Access Pack DLC - Prototype 2's DLC: the RADNET Access Pack, Colossal Mayhem and Excessive Force packs, and the powers - Optional HD textures: the PC 4K texture packs (Allagga's Prototype RE, Warcaco's Prototype 2 pack), installed on the console - Prototype 2 in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Polish or Russian; Prototype in English, French, Italian or Spanish - The app's menus in English or Brazilian Portuguese (LANGUAGE AUTO follows the PS5); the games' own text in Portuguese comes in a later update - Installs itself from your own files: drop your disc images and DLC in its install folder and open the app. The install runs at full drive speed through your payload loader - Imports your Xbox 360 saves, backs up and restores saves - Both games' achievements as trophies - An FPS counter, Skip Intro, and a menu to install, uninstall and manage everything with the progress on screen An unofficial fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by Activision, Radical Entertainment, Microsoft or Sony. No game files are included. - Your own Prototype and/or Prototype 2 for the Xbox 360 as `.iso` files, or folders of the discs' files. Tested with: - Prototype: `Prototype (World) (En,Fr,Es,It).iso`, 7,838,695,424 bytes - Prototype 2: `Prototype 2 (USA, Europe).iso`, 8,738,846,720 bytes - No title updates: both games run from their discs - Optional: Prototype 2's DLC packages - Optional: the 4K texture packs from Nexus Mods, extracted on a PC (their folders of `.tpf` files)
