Def Jam: Fight for NY from DefJamFFNY-recomp, Vlad Yanhursky's recompilation of the original Xbox game, ported to PS5 running natively at 60 fps with up to 4x the original resolution, sent to the TV in 4K. Fights go widescreen while menus and movies keep their 4:3 shape inside a border of your choice, PlayStation buttons replace the Xbox ones throughout, menu text is redrawn sharper, and a frame generation beta takes it to 120 fps on a 120 Hz TV. Hold L3 + R3 in game for the settings menu. Bring your own copy of the game: on its page, choose your USA Xbox disc image under Your game files, and the store unpacks it into the app's GameData folder. Optional HD texture packs for the fighters, venues, menus and HUD are on the game's page at recompstore.com. Then launch it from your homebrew launcher.
